This was originally a document for personal use, but I’ve seen enough people getting interested in this kind of stuff that I thought it’d be worth posting. At least after cleaning it up (a bit). This is a list of various artists who’ve cited Yasuhiko as an influence (or just mentioned him or his work in a tweet). Yasuhiko is a pretty important artist, whose influence gets more complicated as time goes on, so don’t hold your breath waiting for a finished version of this. I’m definitely missing a lot of artists who were influenced by Yasuhiko in this list, and I might be overestimating Yasuhiko’s influence in some cases as well, so don’t take this as the final word on the subject. The notable works category definitely needs work, as I’ll admit I haven’t seen a lot of these shows.
